Easter
Easter or “Zatik” in Armenia is one of the most colorful, joyful celebrations of the year. Հարության տոնը, կամ «Զատիկը» տարվա ընթացքում ամենապայծառ, ուրախ նշվող տոներից է Հայաստանում:
Easter falls on Sunday, April 12, 2020. Հարության տոնը նշվում է կիրակի՝ ապրիլի 12-ին: Easter is celebrated on the Sunday following the first full moon. Հարության տոնը նշվում է կիրակի՝ հետևելով առաջին լիալուսնին:
Speaking about the traditional Easter food in Armenia we should mention that Armenian women bake a cake with white flavoring, which symbolizes purity, make fried fish, herbs of different kinds, boil and paint eggs in different colors, rice with raisins and what not. Խոսելով ավանդական զատկական ուտելիքների մասին Հայաստանում՝ պետք է նշել, որ հայ կանայք պատրաստում են թխվածքներ սպիտակ համեմունքներով, որոնք խորհրդանշում են մաքրություն, տապակում են ձուկ, տարբեր տեսակի բանջար, տորբեր գույների ներկում են ձվեր, չամիչով բրինձ և այլն:

We began the Easter morning with congratulations to each other. Then we have a breakfast with paited eggs and visit to our grandmother.
