My Job Field is cinematography
I’m Andranik Paradyan, I’m 17 years old. Around the age of 10 or 11, I began my creative journey, initially creating educational videos on art and science, then gradually transitioning to creating animated films. Over the course of several years, my skills developed in the field of animation, working on various projects at school. One of my cartoons was dedicated to the school project «Habitat without Fences,» and the music for the film was written by the renowned Armenian composer Robert Amirkhanyan. I won school awards for several projects. I recently shot my first short film. It was something new! I worked on it for about two years, and it was presented at the Naregatsi Art Institute. During the process, I gained extensive practical experience in directing. And during post-production, I began studying visual effects. I started working with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro, then learned Blender for advanced CGI. Now I’ve switched more to DaVinci Resolve for greater flexibility. I use Mocha Pro, and I’m learning Nuke and many other programs, moving closer to professional compositing and CGI. I also have considerable programming experience, which helps in various situations. I highly value editing as one of the most powerful methods for accurately conveying the essence of a story to the audience. While the core elements of film are letters and words, editing is the construction of sentences from all available materials. At the beginning of the year, I completed a two-month course called «Film School Without Borders,» where I learned a lot about scriptwriting and worked with generative convolutional neural networks. Most importantly, I became more familiar with the film industry. In August of this year, I took part in the International Children’s Cultural Forum in Moscow. It was an opportunity for me to gain new experience and knowledge.
